Look! It's Jessie!
And, oh dear... is that Wilkins? Teaser indeed, especially in the wake of ep 12!
I was going to crack a stupid so-Crankshaft-is-behind-it-after-all joke, but this looks to good to be brought down by reference-humor -- still, Jessie rocks!

Our Shows / Cataclysmo / The First Cataclysmo Convention

Yeah, well... that's what it was! About a month ago I was in California for a business trip. Of course I knew Cataclysmo had been shot in LA, but I would have never thought or hoped I would bump into anything Cataclysmo-related around here. That was until I walked passed Anthony Parisi in a store in La Habra, OC. Of course neither he nor I acknowledged it at first. I had only ever seen him on the making-of videos of Cataclysmo and he had seen me in my own little webvideo ( http://www.dustangels.org). Since we followed each other on Twitter he knew I was in the general LA area... but walking past each other in a random store, at a random hour? Inconceivable! Or so we thought. I live in the Caribbean and was in town for a trade show in Anaheim, so the chances of meeting like this was statistically near impossible. But of all the towns in all the world, in all the galaxies, in all the time-periods, in all the burrows, in all the counties, in all the stores, in all the check-out counters... and we walked passed each other in this one. (Not sure if I just quoted Casablanca or Cataclysmo...) In any case we twittered each other afterwards ("That was YOU?!" -- "Yeah! That was YOU?!") and decided to meet if in any way possible for a Cataclysmo-dinner the following week before my departure. Again I was very fortunate. Most of the crew showed up and I had a veritable Catcalysmo Convention of my own, with a meet-and-greet and.... gorramit!... I was so star-struck I forgot to get their autographs. Here is a quick video of my meeting with the guys! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOFirvwQLs4Jealous?

Nice. I was waiting for this shot with the citylights in the BG. Still, after the 10th day, shouldn't there be fires raging in the city? A city's infrastructure when left alone takes on a life of its own... oh, there I go again, nitpicking.
Great ep!
Lee needs to lighten up...

I'm totally with Adam and the others. Lee went overboard. Ah, and finally more Adam&Ben Show connections... Dr. Wilkins researching cancer. Kristen cured of cancer. Noah's blog entry on Wilkins. It's all coming together now...
So far all the survivors have one thing in common, more or less: cancer.

You all have a point about evil characters. True, just because he had an unprofessional reaction doesn't mean he's evil. He does what he feels best... with emphasis on 'feel'. His reaction was purely emotional, which is not a good trait of a leader. Judged by his actions as well as personality I wouldn't trust him anymore. Obviously he doesn't seem to handle pressure well.
Anyway, such is my perception of leadership. There are leaders and there are followers... and then there are those who think they can lead.

Addendum:
Nice move by the Serial Gods with bringing out the "Campaign Results" at the same time as the episode that stamped him as a villain, or at least anathema character. He's got some beef with society we realize at last.
Kudos also to the actor. Great work! Evil characters are the coolest to play, but often also the hardest!

This one kinda annoyed me actually.
I have to agree. No matter how oddball Fox was, somebody would have listened to his babble right from the start. And "Neo-Nazi" Lee... well, I guess he lost all of our respect now, but that was to be expected. Lord of the Flies anyone? Excellent lighting on Lee, as was his acting. Very realistic performances by all, especially Fox. Too bad he's gone.

"Golly-gee, and me without my marshmallows." Sanitary but complicated. The fire is too small for so many bodies. Two, three, four, yes, but we're talking dozens, if not hundreds. It takes a lot of wood, gasoline, etc to help fully burn all this flesh. And let's not even get into the sickeningly sweet smell spreading itself all over the campus. Besides, you don't want to mess with bodies that have been dead for 10 days. They're all bloated by now and stink like... well, dead bodies. Lifting them can cause skin-slippage, i. e. the skin rips off the flesh. Very icky stuff. I recommend rubber gloves, contamination suits and masks. Disposal of the bodies should have started on day 1 or 2, and with such large amounts only mass-graves work. But since the whole of LA is dead... can you imagine the stench by now? Unless it's the dead of winter, decomposition will have set in, insects and rodents will be all over them and diseases follow shortly. Sorry, Lee, I'm not convinced. This was a bad, bad choice. I would have expected better from an ex-military. Best choice would have been to loot... erm... 'remove' everything useful for survival, abandon the city and head for remote areas where there aren't so many bodies and stick it out for a year before returning to any city. With most people dead you'd have a nice choice of places to go. Or get a convoy together to travel the land in search for more survivors. But wait! This would change the story drastically and move us away from the campus setting! Grrrr, I'm being nitpicky today! So not me! Ever seen a dead body burn? Tendons heat up and contract, as does the skin. In other words, mouth pops open, fingers twitch, legs move... Okay, I'm gonna shut up now.
