Is it just me or is Samantha particularly yummy in this season? I love all the characters in the show (a return of Crankshaft? Please?) but Sam just is the... er.... one who gets most of my attention. I watched 'Monster' just because of Erin! I know... shameful. You guys stand above and beyond anything The Asylum cranks out...

I was taken with Samanthas reaction when Bucky suggested they settle down. I mean she had witnessed the the end of her civilization and has been beating ass, and I get the feeeling the hasn't meted out enough wrath yet.

Not to mention...

Staying at the place that the guys that bound and gagged her and were going to do what because she was the only woman they had seen in who knows how long?

Hat's off to Ms. Sullivan for her gift of subtlety! Well played!

p.s. please don't see Monster anyone who hasn't seen it. waste of money, truly. we filmed a better movie than what the Asylum put out, but still... not good. no monster shots. just not very good. (though i think Asylum has done worse).

The entire ensemble is awesome, but in regards to the "...quite up to the time boys level..." I say <insert crude descriptor> on them! Sams character will react differently thatn the Boys because while they may be reaching for the same goal they came into this thing with differnt motivations and history. It's not a "level" thing at all, it's a story process.

I know I keep refering back to ep. 13, becasue quite frankly it was the first one I saw and had me fall in love with Cataclysmo, but when Dr. Crankshaft has the moment of pure humanity when stating how his creation is going to save the world, and Sam soften the same time we all did, was brilliance on both the actors. Someone less in tune with the craft could have over played that or just not emoted, and Ms. Sullivan did a fantastic work of it.

Sorry didn't mean to rant. I am not a film professional, just a guy that packs parachutes and tries to enjoy things with an untrained eye.

I have to see Monster now. You have completely gotten my curiosity going.

I thought the same thing. I think I will regret that decision forever. The acting wasn't bad but everything else was pretty atrocious.

If you need further proof, listen to this hilarious audio review of the movie by a writer at dreadcentral.com.

There is some language in it so consider it NSFW.

Hehe, I bookmarked it.  Whenever a movie makes me sad at how bad I think it is, I'll just listen to this guy.

Indeed a poor choice of movie for anyone to watch. But no reason of shame either, particularly for the working thespian. Just think of the trite the likes of Sandra Bullock cranked out in their early days when the paycheck was better written than the script. At least it was more exposure then the blink-and-you'll-miss-it back-drop cameo from Transmorphers (gotsta love that name). Was that a wig?  Roll Eyes

In any case, I am grateful to the Serial Gods for Cataclysmo, where Sam... er... Erin can display her ability. That's right Chris, Nathan, Josh... I'm a-lookin at you!

Keep it up girl, your fans (few there may be as of yet) are eager to see more.
