I'm stoked.  I was in the Horton lobby when you guys did the clip in the stairwell.  And there were these random guys with gas masks in the cafeteria a while after that.  Hmmm.

Is this preview going to be on YouTube soon? I think its your best yet.

Got a better idea of what this show is going to be about. Looks like it could be a pretty big story and its exciting to see something really dramatic.

Just curious - in Trailer #3, where's the location with the world map on the pavement?

That is the Navy Memorial Plaza across the street from U.S. National Archives. The statue featured in close up is the famous Lone Sailor. A tremendous memorial. Impressed that these guys used it in their movie. Bravo.

I'll be honest, I thoroughly enjoyed the quirkiness of Cataclysmo, so I'm a bit wary as to the coming darkness. I will watch it with care and respect and an open mind. But I'll be honest... as exciting and interesting and dramatic as this new show seems to look I fear it will not live up to Cataclysmo standards in my mind.

Then again, nothing ever will ;-).

Still, I'll be here and I will enjoy myself! The previews look amazing!

And now we have a title for the new mystery serial.  The plot thickens...

Thanks for the info about the Memorial Plaza.

"The Black Dawn" will certainly have a darker, more dramatic edge to it. I'm sure that will excite some long-time viewers, who may have preferred the drama of "Project X" to the quirkiness of "Cataclysmo," but I sympathize with all of you who will miss the zaniness and craziness.

While Kevin and Anthony are taking a much needed break, rest assured that the team behind "The Black Dawn" is first-rate. The series is directed by William Hellmuth, who guest directed several episodes of "Cataclysmo," and co-written by Johnny Zanzibar himself, Brian Walton (who also wrote our fun mini-serial "Trunk"). New faces to our team include co-creator and lead writer Abraham Sherman and cinematographer Jon Lavey. Not to mention Curtis Schweitzer is back, composing new music for us.

Needless to say, I think all of you WebSerials fans are going to enjoy this exciting new show! Tell your friends, "The Black Dawn" begins January 31, 2009!

Brian and Curtis! I'm so in. Thanks for the info, Josh! And don't worry, no matter what, I'm sure we'll be watching. I know I will! Like I said, it looks great!

hmmm. WHo is in it? Who wrote it? Who directed it? I'm afraid it doesn't look like a genre I would enjoy.
